THE CONCEPT OF “CONSOLI” HYBRID PIPE ORGANS
The hybrid pipe organs designed by Consoli factory offer the possibility to connect your current pipe organ, or a new one to pre-existing Consoles.
With the advent of the digital age, we have been the first and only manufacturers in the world to exclusively realize the digital transmission system “TDS by Consoli”. The originality of this innovation consists in connecting our pipe organs to the most important world brands of digital consoles for churches:
Rodgers, Viscount, Roland, Johannus, Content, etc.
Using a standard or custom phonic disposition, it is possible to combine the sound of real pipes with that of the console you prefer.
Moreover, our technology, coupled with a great experience in restoration and conservative recovery, gives new life to ancient organs, minimizing maintenance problems –which often discourage users from the restorating, even organs of historical importance.

CONSOLI Multiplex Modular System:
unique in the world is the modular production system of the pipe body that allows, according to the needs and budget available, to build the body with the facade (using the main sets of stops) at first and expand it later according to different needs. Obviously, in order to compensate for the initial lack of real stops, there are the console stops, which, thanks to the multi-channel amplification system, combine the digital sound with the real pipes, creating a full-bodied sound that far exceeds the imagination.
CONSOLI Auto-tuning Device:
enables a constant tuning between the pitch of digital sounds and those of the pipes. Thanks to a temperature probe that detects and communicates to the console the different frequencies of the pipes, the console sounds are always perfectly in unison with real pipes.

Installations and Restorations
The founder of the Consoli family was Cav. Francesco Consoli (1869 – 1944).Born in Locorotondo, was the father Donato, accorder of pianos and armoniums, to instil him the great love for the organicistic art that he learned excellently.In 1886, Francesco Consoli, after a year working in Naples for a pianos factory, he moved to Turin working for the “Casa Organaria Vegezzi Bossi” (the most prestigious factory in Italy at that time), where he learned and clenched the art of building organs for 22 years before reaching the graduation at factory’s chief. In 1908, when he came back to Locorotondo, he founded the “Fabbrica Arcivescovile d’Organi” bringing back in Puglia (a southern region of Italy) an ancient tradition forgiven by centuries. Meanwhile, his cousin Leonardo, (1875 – 1944) a master organ player of the Mother Church of Locorotondo, also piano and flute player, took the graduation in repairing pedal armonium. His son Giovanni (1905 – 1993), working in the factory of Francesco Consoli, took all the necessary knowledge, that he taught later to his first son Leonardo Consoli (1927 – 1997). And so, Leonardo pass his first 20 years with his grandfather. From him he will learn all the knowledge to according and repairing pianos and armoniums; at the same time, from his father Giovanni, (who worked in the Francesco Consoli factory), he took the techniques of building, according and restoration of the pipe organs. At the age of 23, (1950), Leonardo goes living in Castelfidardo (AN – Italy), to specialize himself into construction and according of accordion and little organs in some of the most famed factories in there place. Came back in his hometown in 1954, where established his own activity with a restoration and reparation laboratory of organs, pianos, accordions and armoniums. Some factory workers of the Francesco Consoli factory (that ceased his activity), came to work with him. In 1965, Leonardo Consoli start his activity of building pipe organs with electric transmission; thereafter, some years later, the building of handmade pianos. The establishing will continue until the 80’s, where incomes his first son Giovanni Consoli with his sons Francesco and Leonardo, holders of the actual factory. Giovanni goes on adding at the great and long experience taken from the apprentice with his father, the most advanced technological solutions of the time. Following the digital era, makes a project and realize in exclusive the first Standard Digital Transmission (Consoli TDS). The originality of this invention it’s the connection between the pipes body to the console with a simple shielded cable with two poles (universally utilized with computers, and of guaranteed reliability). The completely absence of retard between the touch of the key and the opening of the air in the pipe to long distance with the highest reliability of the instrument, are the proof of the most advanced technology applied. Performances that were impossible first. The 24th of December of 1999, the CONSOLI DTS technology has been used in S. Peter Square in Rome in a concert for the opening of the Jubileum, with the littlest organ of the Consoli Production. The concert appeared live on tv through whole Italy. The Giovanni Consoli Factory is actually the only pipes organ factory in south Italy to install instruments projected with Standard Digital Transmission even in Europe and other continents all around the world. The TDS CONSOLI System, perfectly used for 40 years, offers a series of exclusives advantages.
Consoli artists
Jung-A Lee La Dott.ssa Jung-A Lee, è Professore di Musica, Organo e Accompagnamento presso la D.M.A., Boston University. Si è esibita in Europa, Nord America e Asia come organista, pianista e direttore d’orchestra. Attualmente è organista della Chiesa Presbiteriana di St.Andrew a Newport Beach, nonché Professoressa presso la Vanguard University, è Accompagnatrice del coro Man in Black presso l’Università di California, Irvine. Nell’Aprile 2009 ha fondato Music Mission International, al fine di promuovere la musica d’organo. Lei è la presidente dell’organizzazione no-profit con dodici membri del consiglio. "I gave several recitals on Rodgers/Consoli organs in southern Italy for the last few years. Each time I had a great experience no matter which church I played at. Since the weather was hot and humid, I was worried about the tuning. But with the Consoli's great technology to tune the pipes and digital organs in right pitch, each recital was satisfying. Consoli organs have a bold and bright tone. It was easy to set the registration on the hybrid organ as I was able to figure out which color is appropriate for which repertoire by using Consoli pipes only or Rodgers stops only. I would recommend the Rodgers/Consoli hybrid organ as it will function well for church masses as well as organ recitals."

Carlo Maria Barile
nato a Ferrara nel 1989, in seguito alla maturità classica conseguita con il massimo dei voti, si è diplomato in organo e composizione organistica con il massimo dei voti e la lode presso il Conservatorio “Niccoló Piccinni” di Bari con Margherita Quarta, nel 2011 ha conseguito il Konzertexamen in organo con valutazione sehr gut presso la “Hochschule für Musik” di Detmold in Germania con Tomasz Adam Nowak e nel 2016 ha conseguito con Antonio Florio il Master di II livello di musica antica presso il Conservatorio “San Pietro a Majella” di Napoli con il massimo dei voti e la lode. Ha continuato il suo perfezionamento con docenti quali il Thomasorganist Ullrich Böhme, Naji Hakim e Ton Koopman. Contemporaneamente agli studi classici, ha portato avanti la sua formazione jazzistica, studiando pianoforte e batteria con Vito di Modugno e Michele Di Monte presso la scuola di musica “Il Pentagramma” di Guido di Leone a Bari dove insegna dal 2011 e presso il Berklee College of Music di Boston (Massachusets), frequentandone nel 2007 come borsista il Five Week Summer Performance Program. Tra le sue esibizioni in qualità di solista – organista, pianista e cembalista sia nel repertorio classico che in quello jazz – si ricordano luoghi come il Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola – Jazz at Lincoln Center, la Steinway Hall e la St. Peter’s Church di New York City, la cattedrale di Toledo per la XI e la XIV “Batalla de Organos", il Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari per il Bif&st nelle edizioni dal 2014 al 2017, la chiesa di Notre Dame des Champs di Parigi, la basilica di Valére a Sion in Svizzera in occasione del 44e Festival de L’Orgue Ancien et de la Musique Ancienne e dell’iniziativa Châteaux et Musées en fête 2016, la Thomaskirche di Lipsia e la Markuskirche di Monaco di Baviera per la rassegna concertistica Münchner Orgelsommer 2015, 2017 e 2018. Tra le sue performance in orchestre ed ensemble barocchi nella sezione del basso continuo si annoverano luoghi come il Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, il Muziekcentrum De Bijloke di Gent in Belgio, Cracovia per il festival “Misteria Paschalia 2019", l’auditorium di Castel Sant’Elmo a Napoli nell’ensemble “Cappella Neapolitana” diretto da Antonio Florio e la Real Cappella del Tesoro di San Gennaro per la prima esecuzione in tempi moderni della “Passio Domini Nostri Jesu Christi Secundum Matthaeum” di Giovanni Maria Trabaci, sotto la direzione di Rosario Totaro, replicata successivamente per il Festival Duni 2018 a Matera e Irsina. Con il “Ghislieri Choir & Consort” ha partecipato all’harmonium alla realizzazione della “Petite Messe Solennelle” di Gioachino Rossini presso la Cattedrale Anglicana di San Paolo di Valletta, Malta per il Teatru Manoel. Al Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli nell’ambito della stagione lirica e di balletto 2017-18 ha partecipato al clavicembalo alla realizzazione dell’opera “Siroe, Re di Persia” di Leonardo Vinci, eseguita in forma di concerto in prima esecuzione nei tempi moderni e diretta da Antonio Florio. Con l’etichetta giapponese “Da Vinci Jazz” ha pubblicato il suo ultimo lavoro discografico dal titolo “Manhattan Suite ... And Other Stories”.
Vincenzo Cipriani Nato a Bad-Cannstatt (Germania) il 12 Ottobre 1969, è docente presso il Conservatorio “E. Duni” di Matera; si è diplomato con il massimo dei voti in organo, composizione organistica e pianoforte principale presso il Conservatorio “N. Piccinni” di Bari. Come esperto di arte organaria è invitato a collaudare e inaugurare i restauri di organi antichi. Cura la progettazione e il collaudo di nuovi organi che utilizzano le più antiche tecniche costruttive dell’arte organaria con i più avanzati sistemi tecnologici. Dal 1988 al 2000 ha fondato e diretto il coro polifonico”Psallite Deo città di Gravina in Puglia” svolgendo intensa attività concertistica, partecipando a numerosi concorsi corali e divulgando il repertorio corale a cappella, negro spirituals e altre forme musicali. È pianista jazz e arrangiatore. È invitato come maestro di coro per le opere liriche, in ultimo”Il Trovatore” presso il Teatro di Camerino (Aprile 2004) per l’Accademia Lirica “Katia Ricciarelli”, progetto coordinato e ideato da Lorenzo Arruga. Nel Febbraio del 2004 ha ideato e diretto”L’Oratorio della Pace” per coro e orchestra con la voce recitante del Prof. Michele Mirabella. Presidente dell’associazione “Lemurge Progetto e Cultura” è direttore Artistico del Concorso Pianistico Internazionale”Premio Benedetto XIII” città di Gravina in Puglia giunto alla quarta edizione. Nell’Agosto del 2005 ha ricevuto la “Targa d’Argento del Presidente della Repubblica” per meriti artistici.
Organista, Pianista, Compositore.
Michael König Nato a Bolzano nel 1973. Dal 1992 al 2000 ha studiato presso le Università di Musica di Graz e di Vienna: Organo (con Otto Bruckner e Michael Radulescu), Musica Sacra e Educazione Musicale. Si è diplomato in tutte le materie con il massimo dei voti. È stato premiato a concorsi d'organo nazionali e internazionali. Inoltre ha frequentato corsi di perfezionamento con organisti di fama internazionale, fra altri Daniel Roth, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Almut Rössler, Ludger Lohmann e David Enlow. Dal 2004 al 2009 ha studiato direzione d'orchestra col M.o Edgar Seipenbusch. Dal 2000 al 2015 Michael König ha vissutonel Tirolo (Austria). Lì dal 2004 al 2009 era l'organista e direttore di musica della Chiesa dei Gesuiti, inoltre era il direttore artistico dell'orchestra sinfonica dell'università di Innsbruck dal 2002 al 2005. Al di fuori die queste attività, luiè stato consulente artistico per la Radiotelevisione Austriaca. Da pochi mesi Michael König vive a Francoforte (Germania) e sta proseguendo una carriera di libero concertista che già lo ha portato in numerosi paesi d'Europa, nonché negli Stati Uniti, l'Africa e l'Asia. “Un organo a canne Consoli è capace a raddoppiare l’autenticità e bellezza di qualsiasi organo digitale! ”
